Air India Express flight cancelled

NEDUMBASSERY: An Air India Express flight, scheduled to fly from Kochi to Abu Dhabi on Thursday, was cancelled late in the evening.The late cancellation of Air India Express flight IX 419 caused inconvenience to at least 70 passengers who had reached the Kochi International Airport to travel to Abu Dhabi.The passengers were provided with hotel accommodation after they protested.The flight was cancelled after the Air India Express Flight IX 412 (Sharjah to Kochi) with at least 180 passengers onboard was diverted to the Kozhikode airport at 9 pm, reportedly due to bad weather. The flight was scheduled to return as IX 419 to Abu Dhabi.The Airline officials hope to resume the service of IX 419 to Abu Dhabi at 9 am on Friday.
