A diamond - studded award for ARR

CHENNAI: It seems breaking old records and setting new ones is child's play for double Oscar winner A R Rahman, who has now added another feather to his already brimming cap.The ace musician has won one more award given by a publication this year, taking his total tally of awards from the organization to 28. Rahman has won the award for his music in the film Rockstar. Incidentally, the award presented to Rahman happens to be the 2,500th award given away by the organisation and is therefore studded with diamonds. Overwhelmed by the move, Rahman, in his inimitable style, tweeted, "Thank you for the diamond-studded statuette for Rockstar! Ellappugazhum iraivanukke!"
