NIZAMABAD: Nearly 40 persons were injured when an RTC bus turned turtle near Krishnanagar thanda in Banswada mandal of Nizamabad district on Thursday.
Six persons including three students were severely injured and were rushed to the nearby area hospital.According to the police, the RTC bus was on its way to Banswada from Hanmazipeta village. The bus was overcrowded with nearly 100 passengers and most of them were students going to schools and colleges in Banswada.

When the bus reached Krishnanagar thanda, the driver steered the bus off the road in an attempt to avoid hitting a car coming in the opposite direction.

Nearly 40 passengers in the bus were injured and condition of six of them is critical. All the injured were shifted to nearby area hospital.
