Ashok, a 20 year old youth working in a courier company turned saviour by taking the missing RSS chief K S Sudarshan back to his brother’s house in the Century park locality.

He also averted a major headache for the police, BJP and RSS men, who were on their toes looking for the missing veteran for more than six hours after he left his house for a morning walk. Ashok saw the headline on Sudarshan missing and came to the Nazarabad police station to inform that the veteran RSS leader was resting in their house.

“He is our saviour . He has done an excellent job by treating the veteran leader and informing the police to end the confusion,” said Police Commissioner K L Sudhir . He also apprised his top officers and announced a reward of `25,000 for Ashok’s good will gesture as the policemen were under pressure from the government and higher officers to find Sudarshan.

Ashok’s family were also praised by the BJP and RSS workers, the police and many top leaders including the District Minister S A Ramadas and legislators.“ We did not know that he was a big man . We offered him water and butter milk as we do to any others who visit the house,” said Srinivas, Ashok’s father and  security guard at the KSRTC bus station. He said that they were delighted that they could help Sudarshan rejoin his family.
