2 die as truck rams van on ORR

HYDERABAD: A 60-year-old  woman and her son were killed and four others received serious injuries when the van in which they were travelling was hit by a truck on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Kothwalguda village at Shamshabad late Monday night. Police said, as many as 15 persons were coming to the city to attend a marriage reception when the accident took place.  Around 11.45 p.m on Monday, when the van driver parked the vehicle on ORR to attend nature's call, a truck coming from behind rammed into the stationary van. Sixty-year-old Peddamma,  suffered severe injuries and died while being shifted to a hospital. Peddamma's son, Chandra Mouli, also died while being shifted to  hospital.
