Thalapathy Vijay's Leo Reaches Break-even In Telugu States

Thalapathy Vijay is one of the biggest stars in the South Indian film industry. He has been a part of some of the biggest projects and enjoys a massive fan following among the masses. Currently, he is enjoying the success of his recently released Tamil film, Leo. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and has received a massive response from the audience all around the country.

The fans are loving the action-packed sequences in Thalapathy Vijay. Now, it has been found that the film is not only making the rounds in Tamil Nadu but has also left an indelible mark in the two Telugu-speaking states. As per reports, the film has crossed the break-even mark in Telugu-speaking states and has become a super hit.

According to reports, the Telugu version of Leo has achieved a remarkable milestone, reaching its break-even point within just six days in six areas across the Telugu states. Reportedly, the film was bought for Rs 15 crore for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and it has crossed the figures already and is now fetching profits for the producer and the distributor. The film is now expected to cross the Rs 20 crore mark and will make Leo Telugu the most successful film by Thalapathy Vijay in the two Telugu-speaking states.

Leo has earned around Rs 248.60 crore in the domestic market. It has been reported that its worldwide collection has crossed the Rs 450 crore mark.

Even though the film has received a tremendous response from the audience, critics gave starkly contrasting feedback for its first and second halves. While the first half of the film received favourable reviews, the second half was criticised for its lacklustre plot. This also resulted in a wave of mixed reactions.

Leo has been produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the Seven Screen Studio and The Root banners and hit screens on October 19. Apart from Thalapathy Vijay in the lead, Leo also boasts a star-studded ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Madonna Sebastian, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mathew Thomas, Mysskin and Priya Anand in pivotal roles.
