In a move to elevate user experience, Mahesh Babu will lend his voice to the app’s smart speakers.
With Mahesh Babu onboard, PhonePe users will now have the pleasure of hearing the actor’s voice during transactions on smart speakers, replacing the standard computer-generated voice. Following payments, users will be greeted by Mahesh Babu’s voice with a cheerful “Thank you, Boss,” adding a personal touch to their transaction experience. This celebrity voice validation feature aims to reassure customers that their payments have been successfully processed.
Leaked footage of the upcoming advertisement for the collaboration between Mahesh Babu and PhonePe has surfaced online. Reports suggest that the company has utilised voice samples from the actor and employed advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to generate payment announcements. Notably, PhonePe has also enlisted actor Mammootty for Malayalam and Kiccha Sudeep for Kannada language voices.
