The Indian National Congress emerged victorious in the Telangana Assembly Elections 2023. As the party emerged winner, the key state party leader who is expected to take charge as the Chief Minister of the state is A Revanth Reddy. While many showered the respected politician with congratulatory messages, music director Charan Arjun went all out to express his contentment on his victory. He also shared some interesting facts about Revanth while speaking about their journey together.
Reminiscing about the times, he was introduced to Revnath Reddy, Charan said, “In 2009, I was introduced to Chandrababu Naidu through Shankar. During my school days, I got a state-level award for my song and it was a privilege to be presented that award from Chandrababu. He has also given me my studio. In 2014, I met Revanth Reddy and sang for him. Since then, we have been in touch. At that time, I wrote the song “Telangana Pulibidda Ninue Maravabudu Ei Gadda” which became very popular when Revanth was in jail. I have been from the time he was in Telugu Desam and stayed with him when he joined the Congress party.”
Speaking further on his bond with Revanth, Charan added, “Revanth Reddy used to write songs with me many times. On the day Anna was elected PCC president, a song titled Three Color Flag was written. The song was even appreciated by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.”
He continued to say that Revanth Anna used to tell me everything that unfolded in the last ten years. I support Revanth Anna as an artist without any political alignment. His victory in the elections has brought new enthusiasm and I am extremely happy to witness his success in his political journey.
Speaking about his further wishes and aspirations, he said that he learned a lot of things and also gained recognition through movies. Additionally, the songs sung by the artist added more to his popularity which he wants to use for encouraging other artists with the help of Revanth. Charan Arjun expressed his wish to encourage writers, poets, and singers for the development of the art sector.
