Empires & Puzzles is a mobile game that combines match-3 games and building strongholds. This wikiHow will show you how to play Empires & Puzzles on a mobile phone or tablet. You cannot play on a desktop unless you use BlueStacks.

Steps

Downloading the App

Open the Play Store Android Google Play (Android) or App Store iPhone App Store Icon (iOS). You'll find the store icon on either your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.

Search "Empires and Puzzles." Tap the search bar at the top of your screen if you're using the Play Store. You'll see a tab for the search page at the bottom of your screen if you're using the App Store.

Tap Install (Google Play) or Get (App Store). The app's developer is "Small Giant Games." The app is free, so you don't need to pay anything to use it, but there are in-app purchases like gem currency.

Signing Up

Open Empires & Puzzles. The app icon features a red-headed female character with "Empires & Puzzles" at the bottom of the icon. You'll find this on your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching. You may need to install the latest version of Google Play Games or Game Center to continue.

Tap Next through the tutorial. You'll be introduced to the game's world in the introduction. After you've finished reading the text on the screen or watching the animations, tap Next in the bottom right corner to proceed.

Play through the tutorial. The first time you play, you'll be lead through a tutorial including playing a match-3 game to defeat some enemies. Play the game and make the matches as prompted to continue. Enter your character's name when prompted. After you play through the opening sequence, you can name and pick a portrait for your character. Continue to learn how to collect materials and build buildings. Tap where the arrows point to collect, build, and progress. You'll be prompted to collect material, build a few buildings at the stronghold's base, summon a character from the summoning portal, battle a boss, and summon another character from the portal before learning about Missions. Each mission includes waves of match-3 battles you need to beat to complete.

Continue to build your stronghold, get recruits, and complete missions. As you progress through the game, it will get more difficult, but if you continue to work on your base and level your troops/collect new and better characters, you should be able to continue. If you're having trouble, make sure your farm levels, mine levels, and ore storage match your stronghold's levels.
