How to Make Cinnamon Dog Treats
Instead of giving your furry friend the same old chicken flavored milk bone, surprise them with a freshly baked cinnamon treat! This recipe does not require any special ingredients or cooking equipment to make. To learn how to make this delicious treat for your pet, continue reading below.
Ingredients

Cinnamon Dog Biscuits

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

Mix your ingredients. In a bowl, whisk together your flour, pumpkin, peanut butter, cinnamon, and baking powder. Once combined, knead your dough. Add the water by tablespoon, so that the dough doesn't become too sticky or wet. The dough should be stiff and dry like a milk bone treat.

Roll the dough until it's 1/2 inch (11/4 cm) thick. Cut the dough using cookie cutters into any shaped that you and your dog want.

Spread parchment paper over the top of a cookie sheet. Spray with butter spray to create a non-stick base. Place the dog treats on the parchment paper.

Bake the treats for 40 minutes. Remember to check on the treats every ten minutes to make sure that they're not burnt or burning. If the treats don't bake thoroughly after the 40 minutes is up, leave them in the oven and check on them every five minutes until they're done.

Remove the treats from the oven and allow to cool down. Once the treats are at room temperature or only slightly warm, feed them to your dog.

Cinnamon Dog Buns

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

Mix your ingredients. In a bowl, whisk together your flour, baking powder, and salt. In a small bowl stir together water, oil, and egg. Add to the dry ingredients and stir just until you have a soft dough.

Roll the dough into a rectangle that measures roughly 8×14-inch. Lightly flour your surface to prevent the dough from sticking.

Starting from a long edge, roll up and pinch the edge to seal. Use a sharp serrated knife to slice half an inch thick.

Spread parchment paper over the top of a cookie sheet. Spray with butter spray to create a non-stick base. Place the dog treats on the parchment paper.

Bake the treats for 15 minutes. Check on the treats frequently to prevent them from burning. Once they are done, they should be springy to touch.

Remove the treats from the oven and allow to cool down. Once the treats are at room temperature or only slightly warm, feed them to your dog. Additionally, you can make a cream cheese topping or drizzle with honey before they are cooked.

What's your reaction?
