Gold, elixir, dark elixir, and gems in the game Clash of Clans are important resources. They help you upgrade your town hall, defensive structures, walls, and any other building. Gems help you speed up upgrades, boost collectors, and buy missing resources. But gems are also pretty expensive and sometimes require in-game purchases. This article will show you tips and tricks in order to get rich in Clash of Clans without spending any real money.

Steps

Remove obstacles around your base. ex. Trees, mushrooms, rocks. By removing obstacles, you will receive a random amount of gems per obstacle removed, up to six gems per obstacle.

Farm. By farming, put your town hall on the outside of your base, and your Storage on the inside. This way, attackers will only destroy your town hall for a 1 star and also, you will get a free 12 hour shield.

Find inactive player bases. Normally, when you attack, you will always find an inactive player (You can tell if they have full collectors and are not in a league) Once you find an inactive base, just drop goblins/archers on their collectors and then surrender (unless there is a town hall to snipe).

SP Levels - (Singleplayer levels) Need gold or elixir for an upgrade? Take it from the goblins in a singleplayer mission!

Lightning Spell + Storages - Need some extra dark elixir for a barbarian king upgrade? No problem! Just find a base with at least 5000 Dark elixir and Lightning spell their dark elixir storage (or just any storage) Note: This is actually easier in Gold 2 and up.
