London: Tottenham Hotspur will be without playmaker Luca Modric when they attempt to complete their Champions league playoff comeback against Young Boys on Wednesday.
The Croatia midfielder strained his groin during last week's 3-2 defeat in the first leg, played on the Swiss club's artificial pitch, and has been ruled out of the return after missing training on Tuesday.
Tottenham, who like Young Boys are trying to qualify for the Champions League for the first time, hit back from 3-0 down in Berne to give themselves a fighting chance of reaching the lucrative group stage.
Redknapp hopes to have strikers Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko, scorer of his side's second goal in Switzerland, available after they all missed Saturday's 2-1 Premier League win at Stoke City.
