Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini is on the Arsenal radar after the Gunners launched a £24million bid for the Belgian.
According to a report in Liverpooldailypost, manager Arsene Wenger is very keen on signing Fellani and has been apprehending him in order to reinforce his squad.
After closely being linked with speculations of signing Manchester United's Wayne Rooney and Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain, Arsenal are looking to strengthen the midfield through the 25-year old.
After losing David Moyes' services to Manchester United, the 25-year midfielder has not bogged away from a possible switch and has expressed his desire to appear in the Champions League.
Newly appointed Everton manager Roberto Martinez however, is keen on retaining Fellani. Adding to it, Martinez also dictated his interest in creating a 'unique style'. "I do feel that it is important that in football you get a winning style, There's a lot of talk about finding different styles and being attractive to watch", he said.
Martinez also gave his insights about the caliber possessed by his club. The Spaniard added, "I've got no doubts over the success that this dressing room has had over the last few seasons and I know they can take football principles in very quickly."
