London: England boss Fabio Capello is being considered to take over as manager of Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala after Euro 2012, according to The Daily Mail.

Big-spending Anzhi, who have already made headlines with their summer captures of Samuel Eto'o from Inter Milan and Yuri Zhirkov from Chelsea, believe the addition of Capello would further enhance their global profile.

The decorated Italian coach is understood to be unwilling to break his contract with the Football Association as he prepares for one final shot at glory with the Three Lions in Poland and the Ukraine next summer, but Anzhi are prepared to wait until after the tournament to get their man.

The free-spending Russian side is eager to meet Capello soon to discuss their offer, but the England boss is unlikely to want to consider his future until after next month's qualifying crunch clash with Montenegro.

Capello has always maintained the England job would be his last in management, but he was tempted by an offer from Italian giants Inter immediately prior to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and Anzhi believe they have the financial muscle to turn his head once more.
