The couturiers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are known for making a colourful statement with their festive ensembles. Looking spectacular, Janhvi’s hand-embroidered bandhani and valli ghagra feature an array of jewel tones that celebrate the spirit of festivities. The colour played the perfect canvas for the stunning hand embroidery including vasli, resham sequins and gold kasab.
Complementing the surreal skirt, was the slinky bugle beaded blouse. Thus, adding a modern romance to this exceptionally crafted ensemble. Janhvi completed the traditional yet contemporary style with a bandhani embroidered dupatta with silk trimmings. Calling her a ‘Real Jewel’, the designer duo celebrated their design on Janhvi by posting the video on their Instagram page.
Janhvi accessorised her look with a choker necklace with matching earrings. With her hair neatly tied in a classic bun, Janhvi exuded grace and elegance with this timeless look. She completed her desi look with a tiny bindi.
A perfect look for the festive season, you can style this set according to your personal style. If you love to give your Navratri look a timeless modern style, you could style the ghagra with a crisp white shirt. Or if you are someone who wants an indo-western look, you could adorn the strappy beaded blouse with denims.
