Everyone was left shocked when Armaan Malik slapped Vishal Pandey inside the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. The altercation stemmed from Payal Malik’s claim that Vishal had admitted to liking Kritika Malik, Armaan’s second wife, and feeling guilty about it. Now, after his exit from the controversial reality show, Pandey has opened up about the mental trauma he faced following the incident.
In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Vishal Pandey recalled the events that unfolded when Payal made her shocking claims. The social media influencer stated that the incident drastically changed how people behaved towards him, with many choosing to avoid him.
“Nobody used to sit with me except Lovekesh Kataria, Sana Makbul, and Shivani Kumari. Nobody talked to me. They looked at me as if I were a monster. It was so difficult. I felt suffocated. Comments were made about my character. It was tough," he said.
Vishal revealed that his co-contestants made comments like, “because of him, girls have stopped wearing short clothes" and “his intentions are not good".
Pandey explained that the incident raised questions about his character, leaving him concerned about his future. “The day it happened, I thought everything ended; my career was over; my dreams were shattered. I thought people wouldn’t work with me. It was haunting, but I somehow managed it," he shared.
Vishal admitted that he was so angry after the incident that he wanted to slap Armaan Malik in return. “I thought about it multiple times. I felt like slapping him every day. My blood was boiling. But I know my values, I know my ethics. I cannot stoop to his level. I know the importance of this show. I know how to respect people," he said.
“I wasn’t sad because of the slap, but because of the reason I was slapped. It raised questions about my character. It was very hurtful," Vishal added.
Pandey revealed that despite the toll the slap incident took on his mental health, he never considered quitting the show. “I am not a quitter. I couldn’t quit. I have been like this. I kept telling myself that I am strong. I was very confident when I entered the show, but after that incident, I broke down. Then my parents graced the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Things got better," he said.
“I know my intentions. My mother knows my intentions. I could not be wrong," he concluded.
