As days are nearing for the much-awaited exam, the importance of an expert guide grows even more. Following their recommendations can help candidates prepare for their exams.

While speaking to Local18, Chandan Kumar, a teacher at Elegant IAS Academy, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, stated that the syllabus for SSC CHSL, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), and Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) is the same. So, candidates do not have to prepare separately for each vacancy. Also, one preparation works for all three recruitments.

Sharing details on the exam, Chandan Kumar said that in the Tier I exam, all questions will carry two marks. For every wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted, he notified. Meanwhile, in the Tier II exam, there will be tests on Mathematics, English, Reasoning, General Knowledge (GK) and candidates’ Typing Speed.

Stressing how prior preparation is necessary, Chandan Kumar, a teacher, went on to say that two months of study is insufficient for an exam such as the SSC. If a candidate has been preparing for this exam for the past year, then his or her curriculum must have been completed by now.

Students who have been studying for a long time should start revising, Kumar stated. To accomplish this, students should answer one question of each category from every chapter so that they remember the entire chapter. In addition, candidates should also focus on improving their computer typing speed, he stressed.
