The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala (DHSE) has announced the much-awaited Class 12 (Plus Two) results for the year 2024 today, May 9. State Education Minister V Sivankutty at a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram released the results along with the details such as pass percentages, number of students and so on. With a pass rate of 78.69 per cent, there was a decline in the overall Class 12 pass percentage this year. This figure reflects a 4.26 per cent dip from the previous year’s pass rate of 82.95 per cent.

DHSE Kerala Plus Two Result 2024 Live Updates

Ernakulam district has recorded the highest pass rate in this year’s Kerala Plus 2 results, with an impressive 84.12 per cent. Wayanad district, on the other hand, recorded the lowest pass percentage, with 72.13 per cent of students passing their class 12 exams.

In the Kerala Class 12 (Plus 2) exams, 1,89,411 students were enrolled in the Science stream. Of them, 1,60,696 passed with an impressive 84.84 per cent pass percentage. 76,235 students appeared in the Humanities stream exam, and 51,144 of them passed, achieving a pass rate of 67.09  per cent. With 83,048 of the 1,09,109 students who took the exam passing, the pass percentage for Commerce this year was 76.11 per cent.

The Plus Two results can be checked on the official state board websites at pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in, keralaresults.nic.in and result.kite.kerala.gov.in. To check the results, students need to use their login credentials, which usually consist of their date of birth and roll number. The Kerala DHSE Class 12th board exams took place from March 1 to 26.

Students who did not receive a passing grade in the Kerala Class 12 results that were released today may choose to take the improvement tests, generally known as Save-A-Year (SAY) exams. The Kerala Plus Two SAY exams are scheduled to take place this year from June 12 to June 20.

DHSE Kerala +2 Result 2024: How to Check

Step 1: Go to the official websites of the Kerala Board at result.kite.kerala.gov.in, results.kerala.nic.in or keralaresults.nic.in and results.kite.kerala.gov.in.

Step 2: A webpage with multiple links will display on your screen. Now, click on the link that reads “Kerala Plus Two Result 2024”.

Step 3: Fill in your essential credentials such as roll number, date of birth and so on. Next, click on the submit button.

Step 4: Your result for the Kerala +2 board exams 2024 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and print a copy of the result as a PDF for future reference

The overall pass percentage of last year’s plus 2 exam was 88.37 per cent. A total of 4,32,436 students appeared for the Plus 2 exam last year. A total of 3,76,735 students appeared for the 12th board exams in Kerala, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 82.95 per cent.
