The registration window for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025 has been extended till October 7, 2024. “The Last date to submit the online application form is further extended up to 07.10.2024. The Correction window will remain open on 08.10.2024 and 09.10.2024. The correction in data of registered candidates for class VI JNVST 2025 is permitted only in Gender (Male/Female/Transgender), Category (General/OBC/SC/ST), Area (Rural/Urban) Medium of Exam and Disability,” reads the official notice by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).
Candidates interested and eligible in applying for the examination which is held for admission to class 6 can do so through the official website, navodaya.gov.in. Parents and candidates must note that they are allowed to apply for JNVST only once. “During verification of the registration Data, if it is found that the Candidate had applied in previous years, the Candidature of Candidate will be rejected,” the official notice stated.
JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: According to the official announcement, only bona fide resident candidates from the district in which the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located and who are currently enrolled in class 5 are eligible to apply for admission through JNVST. Moreover, those who have cleared class 5 in previous academic sessions are not eligible to apply for the selection test.
Age Limit: To be eligible for admissions, candidates must be born between May 1, 2013 and July 31, 2015.

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Step 1: Go to the official website, which is navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2: Search for and click on the link that says “Class 6 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2025” available on the homepage.
Step 3: Click to register yourself and fill in the required information.
Step 4: Scan and upload the relevant documents and pay the prescribed fees.
Step 5: Once done, cross-check the details and submit the JNVST Class 6 application form.
Step 6: Save a copy of the form and print a hard copy of the same for future reference.
The JNVST 2025 is set to be conducted in two phases- January 18 and April 12, 2025, at 11.30 AM. The result of the selection test is expected to be announced by March 2025 for summer-bound JNVs and in May 2025 for winter-bound JNVs.
