ICSI CSEET, CS 2024: Registration, Exam And Course Fee Increased; Check Revised Structure

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) recently revised the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) registration fees as well as the CS course fees for the academic year 2024-25. As per the latest updates, the CSEET 2024 registration fee has been hiked to Rs 2,000, while the CS Executive and Professional  programmes fees have nearly doubled. The reservation policy, however, remains the same across all categories.

CSEET 2024: Registration Fee Details

Candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,000 in accordance with the revised fee structure to appear for the CSEET, which is used to assess eligibility for the Company Secretary programme. Up until last year, the application fee was Rs 1,000. However, the advance fees for the optional CSEET classes remain the same which is Rs 1,000.

The institute has also increased the CS Executive, Foundation, and Professional education fees; however, the enrollment fee remains Rs 2,000.

ICSI CS Courses Revised Fee Structure for Academic Year 2024-25

Here is the updated/revised fee structure for ICSI CS courses in the academic year 2024-25:

CS Executive, CS Foundation, and CS Professional

– Registration fees: Rs 2,000

– Examination fees: Rs 12,900

– CSEET exemption fee: Rs 5,000 (for direct admission)

– Pre-exam test fees: Rs 1,000

– One-day orientation programme: Rs 600

– Chartered Secretary Journal Subscription (Optional)for one year: Rs 500

Total: Rs 17,000 and Rs 22,000 (direct admission)

Here are the revised course-specific test fees for CS courses:

– Executive programme: Rs 1,500 per group

– Professional programme: Rs 1,800 per group

– Late fee for submission of examination form: Rs 250

– Change of examination centre, module, or medium: Rs 250 per change

– Surcharge for appearing in examinations from an overseas centre (Dubai) (over and above normal examination fee): 100 US dollars (around Rs 8,000).

Earlier this week, the ICSI released the schedule for the December 2024 session of the CS Executive and Professional courses. According to the official datesheet, the CS examinations will commence on December 21, 2024, and conclude on December 30, 2024.
