The University of Delhi has released the academic calendar for the first and second semesters of postgraduate courses, BTech programmes, five-year integrated programmes in LLB, BA LLB (Honours), and BBA LLB (Honours) on its official website at du.ac.in. In accordance with the programme, classes for the odd semesters (1 and 3) begin on August 1 and will conclude with theory tests on December 10, 2024. Winter vacation will begin on December 29 and will last until January 1, 2024. Similarly, sessions for even semesters (2 & 4) will commence on January 2, 2025, with theoretical examinations beginning May 13, 2024.
“In order to give effect to the above-mentioned Academic Calendar for the Academic Session 2024-25, summer vacation notified in the existing Academic Calendar for the Postgraduate Programmes for the academic session 2023-24 has been extended from the 22nd July 2024 to the 31st July, 2024,” DU said in an official announcement.
The midterm break will run from October 27 to November 3, and courses will resume on November 4 in accordance with the DU academic schedule for 2024–2025. The semester examinations for theory topics will begin on December 10, and winter break will be declared on December 29.
