In the current financial year, loans and financial grants are to be provided to 9,200 people under the Bihar Udyami Yojana 2024.

The Bihar government has come up with a new scheme for young entrepreneurs. Now, if you have an amazing idea but no money to execute it, this will not be a big deal. You can set up your small industry with the help of the government. A maximum loan of Rs 10 lakh (with 50 per cent subsidy) will be given to promote the establishment of new enterprises.

According to reports, the last date to apply online for the Chief Minister Udyami Yojana 2024 of the Bihar Government is today, July 31. So far, applications from more than three lakh people have been received, while more than 4.43 lakh people have registered to participate in this scheme.

In the current financial year, loans and financial grants are to be provided to 9,200 people under the scheme.

According to the information received, so far the highest number of applications under CM Udyami Yojana have come from the Gaya district at 20,823. After that, 16,824 people applied in East Champaran, 14,041 in Aurangabad and 14,077 in Rohtas to avail themselves of the benefits of this scheme. Apart from this, many other places in Patna are also on the list.

Reports suggest that after scrutiny of the applications, people will be selected through a lottery system. This work will be done by the last week of August.

Financial assistance will be available in a total 3 instalments:

Under this scheme, the Bihar government will provide financial assistance of Rs 2–2 lakh in three instalments.

1. 25 per cent of the total amount will be provided under the first instalment.

2. 50 per cent of the total amount will be given under the second instalment.

3. Under the third instalment, 25 per cent of the total vacant amount will be provided.

Documents required for the application:

1. Age verification-related documents (Matriculation certificate bearing date of birth, birth certificate, PAN card, or Aadhaar card)

2. Aadhar card

3. Residential Certificate

4. Caste certificate

5. Monthly Family Income Certificate* (issued by Anchal Office)

6. Bank Statement/CCancelled Cheque/ Passbook (containing account number and IFSC code)

7. Photograph of the signature and

8. Disability Certificate (as per requirement), etc.
