Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan was present at the Visakhapatnam stadium to witness his side’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 fixture against Delhi Capitals on Monday. KKR players did not disappoint SRK as they displayed a tremendous performance to pick up a convincing 106-run victory against the Rishabh Pant-led side. Following KKR’s spectacular performance against DC, Shah Rukh was heard delivering a speech to the triumphant players in the dressing room. A video of Shah Rukh’s speech was shared by the official handle of KKR on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). “How can we not smile with King Khan in the house,” read the post.

“God bless you all. Nice to see Varun taking those catches. Nice to see Sunil running so hard. Nice to see all of you happy and smiling. God bless you all. Just be healthy and coach tells me that you know me it’s who’s coming and making you guys win. So, next time if I’m not there, just try harder without me,” Shah Rukh Khan can be heard telling the KKR cricketers post their victory against DC.

“So I will try to be there and assist you guys and do all that I do. Thank you very much and be healthy,” he added.

Following his side’s win against DC, Shah Rukh Khan also walked up to Rishabh Pant and hugged him. Having suffered a horrific car accident in December 2022, Pant made a comeback in this season’s IPL. The DC skipper had pulled off a fine knock of 55 off 25 balls against KKR but it was not enough to seal a win for his side.

After the game concluded, Shah Rukh Khan decided to have a chat with Rishabh Pant. Shah Rukh and Pant had a cordial discussion on the ground and a video of this went viral. The official handle of the IPL also shared a video of their heart-warming interaction on X. “From SRK with love. Signing off from Vizag,” read the post.

KKR had a promising start to their IPL 2024 campaign with three wins from as many games. With six points to their name, KKR currently sit atop the IPL 2024 standings. In their next match, the Shreyas Iyer-led side will be up against reigning champions Chennai Super Kings on April 8.
