Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowler Reece Topley pulled off one of the catches of the tournament as he picked up a blinder to get rid of Mumbai Indians opener Rohit Sharma during the IPL 2024 game between the sides at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday.
Rohit was batting at 38 off just 23 deliveries before attempting a sweep off a Will Jacks delivery. Topley leapt in the air to claim the catch of the former skipper with his left hand to leave the stadium stunned.

Glenn Maxwell went for a duck as he fell prey to spinner Shreyas Gopal before du Plessis brought up his fifty. Bumrah came back to dismiss the RCB skipper before getting rid of Mahipal Lomror in the very next delivery with a toe-crusher.
Dinesh Karthik kept the RCB scoreboard ticking with some creative batting as he picked Akash Madhwal apart with four boundaries in an over, all hit at the third-man region.
Bumrah completed his five-wicket haul with the scalps of Saurav Chauhan and Vyshak Vijayakumar in successive deliveries in the penultimate over, before Karthik completed his fifty to help RCB to a total of 196.
However, MI got off to a flying start to the game as Ishan Kishan and Rohit put up a 101-run opening partnership before Kishan was dismissed by Akash Deep after having made 69 runs off just 34 deliveries.
Rohit added 38 runs before his dismissal, but the night belonged to the returning Suryakumar Yadav, who took the RCB bowlers apart with his swashbuckling 19-ball-52 runs knock to set MI on course to achieving the target with comfort.
