YouTuber GP Muthu Pays Homage To Vijayakanth At Memorial, Rues Not Meeting Him When He Was Alive
GP Muthu will soon be seen in Valli Mayil, directed by Suseenthiran.

Popular YouTuber GP Muthu paid an emotional tribute to actor-politician Vijayakanth at his memorial. He passed away on December 28 due to health issues, leaving the Tamil community in shock. On December 28, the late leader’s body was placed for public homage. Thousands of people from various parts of the country gathered to pay their respects and express grief. Subsequently, Vijayakanth’s body was cremated at the DMD headquarters in Coimbatore, Chennai. Celebrities, who couldn’t attend the memorial, are expressing their grief.

GP Muthu visited Vijayakanth’s memorial to offer a heartfelt tribute. Speaking to the media, he shared, “I had been planning for a week to pay my respects at the Vijayakanth Memorial. On the day of Vijayakanth’s demise, I couldn’t make it due to heavy rainfall in our town. Hence, I came today to pay my respects at the memorial.”

Muthu shared his remorse for not having had the opportunity to meet Vijayakanth while he was alive, recounting a failed attempt to visit him in a rented car. He encouraged the public to emulate Vijayakanth’s charitable spirit by aiding the less fortunate. Speaking about the late leader’s demise, Muthu expressed sadness over the loss.

Expressing his sentiments, GP Muthu conveyed his deep affection for Vijayakanth’s films, particularly mentioning Chinna Kounter and Vaanath Puli. He revealed, “The news of his demise has saddened me the most after my mother’s demise. Despite my humble financial status, I hold great respect for those who engage in charitable activities. I sincerely hope that Vijayakanth’s legacy continues, and if he were to be reincarnated, I would support and assist him in his endeavours,” he stated.

Social media influencer GP Muthu, residing in Tamil Nadu, India, garnered attention through his YouTube channel, amassing a notable following of 988k subscribers. In 2022, he entered the popular reality show Bigg Boss Tamil 6, hosted by Kamal Haasan. Later, GP Muthu participated in the widely appreciated cooking-based comedy reality show, Cooku With Comali 4.

Some of his notable projects include Baba Black Sheep, Cooku with Comali, Bumper, and Thunivu. He will soon be seen in the upcoming film Valli Mayil. Directed by Suseenthiran, the film stars Sathyaraj, Vijay Antony, and Sunil in the leading roles. The other cast of the film includes Bharathiraja, Thambi Ramaiah, Aranthangi Nisha, and Manoj Bharathiraja to name a few.
