The Russell 2000 index of smaller companies fell 13.42 points, or 0.6%, to 2,363.59.

The S&P 500 is up 21.69 points, or 0.5%.

The Dow is down 229.36 points, or 0.6%.

The Nasdaq is up 132.75 points, or 0.8%.

The Russell 2000 is down 48.19 points, or 2%.
