The fan told the media that he has cycled across India and is now planning to head to Nepal. He added that he also applied for visas to Bangladesh and Vietnam.

The late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar needs no introduction. In October 2021, he succumbed to cardiac arrest. During that time he was at the peak of his career. The late actor, also known as Appu, was especially known for movies like Power and Yuvarathnaa. He always enjoyed a huge fan following. Now, one of his fans gave a cycling tribute to his idol and his journey started two years ago.

According to reports, the name of the boy is Muthuselvan, a resident of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He is an MBA graduate. He started his unique journey from his home. It was a 1,111-day trip on his cycle to go around India to pay tribute to his favourite actor. He started his journey a month after Puneeth’s demise in October 2021.

In a recent media interaction, Muthuselvan shared that by the 676th day, he had completed 19,894 km. He has cycled across India and is now planning to head to Nepal. He also revealed that he had also applied for visas to Bangladesh and Vietnam.

Meanwhile, he has also received a proposal that his unique journey has been sent to the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest cycle journey, as he has covered a total of 34,300 kilometres.

Muthuselvan also shared an incident with his friend where the late actor helped him. He said that he was facing financial woes. So he decided to speak about this matter to Puneeth Rajkumar. When the actor heard the whole story, he immediately took off the chain and locket he was wearing and gave them to him. Having witnessed this, Muthuselvan became a lifelong fan of Puneeth Rajkumar and his humanitarian ways.

So after his death, he quickly decided to undertake this journey because, according to him, this was the only way he could think of paying tribute to the late actor’s generous spirit. He said, “Wherever I go, especially in the north, people are curious to know about Appu, sir. In Punjab and Karnataka, the response was so heartwarming, and the cops were so good to me. I will feel truly fulfilled when this travel ends. One man can impact so many lives in various ways, and I’m proof of it.”
