Bigg Boss Kannada 10: Kichcha Sudeep Reprimands Vinay Gowda Over 'Bangle' Remark

The Kannada language reality television series, Bigg Boss Kannada is currently airing on Colors Kannada. The 10th season began on October 8. A total of 19 contestants entered the house on the first day. Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep is hosting the show. Due to intense tasks and arguments inside the house, the show is climbing the ladder of TRP to become the most-watched Kannada reality TV show. The viewership crosses the TRP chart on Saturdays and Sundays. On these days, Kichcha Sudeep schools the contestants over their decisions and foul behaviour.

The weekend episode on Sunday witnessed the same from the actor. This time the contestant Vinay Gowda came under the radar of the criticism by the actor.

In the latest Varada KatheKicchana Jothe episode of Bigg Boss Kannada 10, host Kichcha Sudeep addressed a pivotal moment in last week’s event and particularly focused on Vinay Gowda’s usage of words during an argument inside the Bigg Boss house. The host schooled the contestant Vinay Gowda over his metaphorical usage of the term bangle, referencing an incident which involved contestant Karthik Mahesh.

During an argument, Vinay Gowda said to a fellow contestant that if you want to play then try to play like a man. “Don’t play like a woman with a bangle,” he added. This sparked the debate outside and inside the house over the representation of women in Gowda’s words. To this, Kichcha Sudeep highlighted the importance of the bangle. He called it a symbol of strength, resilience and empowerment which is traditionally associated with women. The host asked the fellow contestants to not treat bangles as a sign of weakness.

The wise words from the host not only addressed the misinterpretation of the bangles but he also highlighted the true essence of women’s empowerment during the last episode. He asked the contestants to take a respectful approach towards such terms and other activities.

In the last weekend episode, contestant Rakshak Bullet was evicted. He was the former captain of the house.
