Lamborghini Huracan Successor Arrives on August 16, Details Here
In India, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo starts at Rs 3.22 crore, but the price for the Temerario hasn't been announced yet.

Lamborghini, the luxury sports car giant, has confirmed that they are all set to unveil the highly anticipated successor to the Huracan, reportedly named Temerario.

The bike will debut on August 16 at the Monterey Car Week. The Italian manufacturer’s third plug-in hybrid supercar is expected to be launched in the market later this year.

Talking about its appearance, recent images from Motor1.com revealed Temerario’s stylistic aspects, which appeared to be inspired by the flagship Revuelto. It had Lamborghini’s iconic grille and Y-motifs on the bumpers, lights and wheels. At the back, it features a high-mounted hexagonal exhaust tip.

As for the engine, according to Autocar, the Temerario will be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged PHEV V8 powertrain, with the combustion engine producing around 800 bhp and 730 Nm of torque, much more than its predecessor’s naturally aspirated V10.

The electric motor will be installed between the combustion engine and the dual-clutch transmission, producing an additional 150 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The all-new powertrain, designed entirely in Italy, will have a redline of 10,000 rpm.

Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann revealed that the new car’s total power output would exceed 887 bhp, about 250 bhp higher than current Huracan models, reported Motorsports.

In India, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo pricing starts at Rs 3.22 crore. However, the price for the upcoming Temerario has not been revealed as of now.

In other news, the Italian car maker is all set to launch their powerful SUV, the Lamborghini Urus SE in the Indian market on August 9. Interested customers will be able to reserve the vehicle at the company’s authorized dealership or online through the official website.

Talking about the engine, the vehicle is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, paired with a robust plug-in hybrid system. It has also received an impressive 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery setup, along with the electric motor. Which will generate a maximum power of 789 bhp and 950 Nm of peak torque.

The Lamborghini Urus SE is expected to be launched at a price range of Rs 4 to 5 crore. Upon its arrival, the vehicle will compete against the BMW XM, Audi RSQ8, Porsche Cayenne GTS, Lotus Eletre and Aston DBX 707.
