Hero MotorCorp has been making efforts to make a good impression in the Indian market. And, the company somehow secured a good place in the chart, a big thanks to the newly launched Karizma XMR. Now, it has been informed by Hero that it will increase its production in the premium segment, adding 10,000 units a month, which will help to meet the demand.
It has been reported that the company is likely to deliver between 30,000 to 40,000 units nationwide in the upcoming four months.
Here’s What Hero MotoCorp CEO Says
Sharing the view on Q2 sales, CEO of Hero MotoCorp, Niranjan Gupta said ” We will start with 10,000 units a month for both Karizma and Harley Davidson X440 and this will be augmented further going ahead. Our focus is on ensuring we win in this premium journey and get to a meaningful market share.”
In addition, he said, “Our win in the premium journey has started off very well. Our strategy is to address it on all fronts – product portfolio, place, price and promotion. We have started deliveries of Harley 440 across 100 stores from 15th of October, and than 2000 vehicles already have been delivered.” He also revealed that Hero MotoCorp has received a fresh 2000 bookings in the second window, taking cumulative booking for Harley at 250,00 plus.
Faith in New Products
Gupta also showed confidence in the newly released product, and said, “The excitement regarding the vehicle will remain unchanged for the next 4-6 quarters. Meanwhile, the company is working own version of the Harley Davidson X440, which is scheduled to make an official appearance next year.
