Floyd Mayweather's Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita Hypercar Up For Auction
2010 Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita can go from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 8.7 seconds.

Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather’s Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is up for auction during the Monterey sale this August. As one of only two built and the only example completed to U.S. market specification, this 2010 Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita from the Ash Crest Collection is one of the most exclusive cars on Earth. The professional boxer paid a whopping $4.8 million for the car.

The collectible is powered by a 4.8-litre V8 twin-supercharged DOHC aluminum engine that churns out 1018 hp and 1080 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a transversal paddle-shift automatic gearbox. The car is completely made of Koenigsegg Proprietary Diamond Weave carbon fiber. The car can go from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 8.7 seconds.

Koenigsegg initially planned only three CCXR Trevitas for production, but because of the complexity of the Diamond Weave production process, that number was reduced to two, making this one of the rarest of Koenigsegg’s creations. Both cars feature the shimmering Koenigsegg Diamond Weave bodywork, double carbon rear wing, carbon-ceramic brakes with ABS, Airbags, paddle shifters, Chrono Dial control cluster, infotainment system, tire-monitoring system and a hydraulic lifting system to protect their undercarriages.

The Trevita’s power-assisted carbon-ceramic disc brakes follow modern supercar convention, combining ventilated 1.34-inch wide, 14.9-inch diameter discs and 8-piston light alloy Brembo monoblock calipers up front with 1.26-inch wide, 14.25-inch diameter discs and light alloy AP Racing calipers at the rear. Today the supercar has traveled only 1,947 miles and represents a magnificent expression of the automobile as art.
