After making waves on digital platforms regarding the upcoming Q6 e-tron, Audi has finally confirmed the dates of its global debut. The fully electric SUV is all set to break the cover on March 18, taking the total number of models to eight in the international market.

The vehicle has been developed in a joint venture with Porsche and Audi, which will offer impressive power and a decent range. To make it more reliable in terms of built quality and performance, a trusted PPE electric car platform has been used by the brand. It is the same platform that has been used in the Porsche Macan EV, and will be seen in the upcoming A6-e tron.

Maximum Range

The report also suggested that the vehicle will be capable of providing a decent range of up to 600km on full top-up. However, confirmed details about the same are yet to be shared by the company.

Audi Q6 e-tron is also considered an alternative electric to the company’s tech-loaded Q5.

Interior Updates

Inside the cabin, it will feature an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment system, which will support all wireless car connect technology. When it comes to the space, it is expected to offer ample storage with about 536-liter boot storage. This also can be expanded to 1,529-liter by folding both seats at the back.

Performance

The company has not shared the power figures as yet. However, it believes that the  Sportback model is likely to offer a combined output of around 463 bhp and 800Nm of peak torque. It is likely to be equipped with a twin motor,  and will be offered in a four-wheel-drive powertrain.
