Mahindra’s most anticipated model 5-door Thar Roxx is all set to arrive Indian market. The launch date has been set for August 15. In a fresh teaser, the company has released a few more details about the SUV, and has confirmed the front-ventilated seats in the car.
Ventilated Front Seats and Other Comfort Features
It is expected to come only in the top model. However, a concrete confirmation about the same is yet to be shared by the brand. The feature will make the off-roader more premium than ever.
Apart from this, the upcoming Thar Roxx will also get an automatic decent-sized panoramic sunroof, which will put an extra feather to its cap.
5-Door Mahindra Thar Roxx: What to Expect?
As per the details shared by the brand, the upcoming 5-door Thar will hit the market with improved charm, featuring a similar style statement as the younger 3-door sibling. It will get the same round-shaped highlight setup, which will be transformed into a fully LED setup. The vehicle will come with a lot of cosmetic changes such as an updated bumper, a new grill at the front, a tweaked bonnet, a redesigned tail section and enhanced dimensions.
Door Placement
The extra doors will be mounted on C-pillars, while the fifth one will remain in the same position at the tailgate. Despite flaunting a lot of updates, the SUV will continue to have the same charm as the ongoing 3-door Thar.
Powertrain
The upcoming Thar 5-door will be powered by both petrol and diesel engines. The former will get 2-litre turbo unit, while the latter will use a robust a 2.2-litre unit.
Expected Price
As far as the price is concerned, the model is expected to hit the market at the starting price of Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base trim.
