BTS Leader RM Says He Wants To Visit India: ‘Someday, Why Not’
During a live session with ARMY, RM enthusiastically said, "Yeah, I want to visit India too someday.”

In the past few years, the global influence of Korean dramas and K-pop has significantly expanded. BTS, one of Korea’s most popular bands, has garnered a massive following not just for their exceptional performances but also for the members’ close connection with fans. In a recent instance, BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon, engaged in a live social media session, addressing various topics. What caught everyone’s attention was RM’s expressed interest in visiting India, his subtle hints about military service, and discussions surrounding recent facial scars during the live session.

In response to a fan’s inquiry about the ideal country for relaxation, RM mentioned Switzerland or Iceland. Seemingly, when addressing a comment from a desi ARMY member about a potential visit to India, RM enthusiastically stated, “Yeah, I want to visit India too someday. Why not?”

Addressing the topic of his facial scar near the eye, RM shared, “Yeah, these are all bruises. I think there might be a scar left (pointing around the area near the eye). I have one scar here from when I was younger. My eye? I got about five stitches. I was filming something, and the camera was too close, so it slid against that area. I had to stop filming and go right to the hospital.” However, RM reassured his fans that he is doing well now.

When a fan inquired about RM’s driver’s license, he responded, “Not yet, but after military service.” Additionally, he expressed a sense of time passing quickly. “1.5 months left till the end of the year? Why is time going by so fast?” RM asked.

RM continued the discussion about his fellow members, including Jimin, V, and Jungkook, stating, “Have I had a meal with the members recently? No. But Jimin, Jungkook, Tae seem like they have been having fun these days though,” he said. Additionally, BTS leader also appreciated Jungkook’s songs and pointed out his favourites. He mentioned Standing Next To You and Hate You from the list.

During the live session, RM went the extra mile for ARMY by treating them to renditions of a few songs by other BTS members. He also dropped a hint about working on something for the future, although he refrained from divulging any specific details at that moment. Work-wise, RM released his debut solo album, titled Indigo in December 2022.
