According to the archival documents, the Patna District War Committee had organised a host of events on September 11 to mark this landmark event in history, from morning till evening.

The matter had come to light nearly a fortnight ago when the blocks PHC in charge lodged an FIR at the police station concerned with regard to irregularities noted in the disbursement of benefits under the Janani Suraksha Yojana.

But the number of people being served cooked food and that of community kitchens are decreasing gradually. The bulletin said that 1.38 lakh people were fed at 174 community kitchens on Tuesday.

While nine deaths were reported from Khagaria district, Saharsa and Darbhanga accounted for three and two fatalities, respectively.

The CM emphasised that there is a need to create awareness among people for wearing mask, hand hygiene, maintaining at least two yards of distance from others in order to protect oneself from getting infected from the virus.

Apart from Darbhanga, East Champaran and Muzaffarpur districts are badly affected where 7.0 lakh and 3.20 lakh people have been impacted, a bulletin said.

The notice, issued by Chaudhary's advocate Kumar Shanu, seeks immediate deletion of all such social media posts by the RJD leader and unconditional apology by Tejashwi Yadav on Facebook, Twitter and "in three leading newspapers in Bihar".
