On January 3, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru is set to unveil the GATE 2024 admission cards, a crucial step for candidates appearing for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The admit card will be accessible for download on the official website gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Historically, IISc releases the GATE exam admit card in the afternoon, with expectations pointing towards a release between 2 pm and 3 pm on the designated day.

The admit card is an essential document, and without it, candidates will be ineligible to take the exam. Therefore, it is strongly advised that applicants promptly print their admission cards as soon as they are available and bring them along on the examination day. To download the admit card, candidates need to visit the official website, input their enrollment number and password, and proceed to download the admit card.

GATE 2024 is scheduled to take place at various test locations across the nation on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The examination will be conducted in two shifts: one from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and the other from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The computer-based test (CBT) will consist of thirty subject questions in English, divided into two sections: General Aptitude (GA) and Candidate’s Selected Subjects. The exam will include Multiple Choice Questions, Multiple Select Questions, and Numerical Answer Type Questions.

To download the GATE admit card, candidates should follow these steps:

Visit the official website of GATE 2024 at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

On the home page, navigate to the ‘Notifications’ subcategory.

Click on the ‘Login’ tab under ‘GATE 2024 Admit Card.’

Enter your enrollment number, password, and captcha.

Click on the ‘Submit’ button to proceed.

Your GATE 2024 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.

Check and download it for the day of the examination.
