Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Launch: What We Expect To See And Price In India

The new Galaxy S24 series promises a lot of new features, both hardware and AI additions. The company is likely to have three models once again, which includes the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Rumours hint at Samsung using its Exynos 2400 chipset for the Galaxy S24 and the Plus variant, while the Galaxy S24 Ultraz comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in most markets.

We expect the new phones to come with up to 16GB RAM and possibly 1TB of storage, going by what the market has been getting in the past year or so. Most of the excitement is likely to be reserved for the cameras at the new AI features from the company.

Samsung did a good job with the cameras on the Galaxy S23 series, especially on the Galaxy S23 Ultra and expectations are high for the incoming lineup. We are likely to see a 200MP sensor on the Ultra, while the other two carry an 108MP primary camera with better low-light and AI editing chops in tow.

Having said that, AI might take centre stage once again, and we’re eager to see how the company utilises the technology and brings it to its devices for the consumers. Its history with Bixby doesn’t fill us with a lot of confidence but Google has been a proactive partner with the company in the past 24 months for various products and AI could surely benefit from this association.

As for the pricing, Galaxy S24 series could see a hike, with the base model starting at around Rs 70,000 going up to Rs 1,10,000 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra in India. Anything lower than these will allow the brand to aggressively compete with its rivals.
