WBJEE 2024 Registrations to End on January 31, Steps to Apply
The WBJEE 2024 will be held on April 28 in two sessions. The first session will run from 11 AM to 1 PM and the second shift will start from 2 PM to 4 PM

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will soon conclude the application process for the WBJEE 2024. Eligible candidates who are interested in applying may submit their applications online through the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in before January 31, 2024. Applicants are advised to complete the application process as soon as possible to avoid last-minute hassle.

In addition to that, the WBJEE board will provide the opportunity to the candidates to make changes to their application forms between February 3 and February 5. According to the schedule, the WBJEE 2024 is slated to take place on April 28 and the admit card for the same will be made available on April 18.

The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode in two sessions, from 11 AM to 1 PM and the second shift will take place from 2 PM to 4 PM. The question paper will consist of 155 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

WBJEE 2024: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must be Indian citizens or OCI (subject to authorisation by the Competent Authority). The All-India quota will only permit OCI candidates to apply for Unreserved seats.

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have passed the class 12 or equivalent exam before 2024 or be scheduled to take the class 12 test in 2024 to be eligible for the WBJEE 2024.

Age limit: Talking about the age limit, applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024. However, the maximum age limit for Marine Engineering Degree Course is 25 years as of December 31, 2024.

WBJEE 2024: HERE’S HOW TO APPLY

Step 1: Go to the WBJEEB’s official website atwbjeeb.nic.in.

Step 2: Look for and click on the registration link titled ‘Apply for WBJEE 2024’ on the webpage.

Step 3: As the new page loads, click on New Registration where candidates will have to fill out relevant information.

Step 4: Navigate to the application link and complete the application form by providing the information as instructed.

Step 5: Upload all scanned documents and submit the prescribed application fee.

Step 6: Submit the application form and save it for future reference .

WBJEE 2024: APPLICATION FEE

Applicants falling under the general category must pay an application fee of Rs 500. On the other hand, for those from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) groups the registration fee is set at Rs 400. However, any female applicants who belong to SC, ST, OBC-A, OBCB, EWS, TFW, or third-gender categories must pay an application fee of Rs 300.
