Next-Gen Renault Duster to Debut in Global Market on November 29, India Launch by 2025
New Renault Duster global debut on November 29: Dacia's upcoming Duster SUV offers powerful engine options and rugged design.

Dacia, the sister brand of Renault, is gearing up for a spectacular revelation of their highly-anticipated all-new Duster SUV.

According to sources, this grand unveiling is set to take place in Portugal on November 29, 2023. What’s even more thrilling for Indian car enthusiasts is that this new Duster will proudly sport the Renault branding in the Indian market, with its launch expected by 2025.

The all-new Duster is likely to offer three petrol engine choices that will cater to a diverse range of driving preferences. It’s an exciting lineup, including an entry-level 120 bhp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, a robust 140 bhp, 1.2-litre petrol hybrid, and a staggering 170 bhp, 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that, in its top variants, is flex-fuel compliant. At a remarkable 170 bhp, it claims the title of the most powerful Duster to ever grace the production line.

Spy shots of the new Duster reveal a striking departure from the second-gen SUV it replaces. This all-new model boasts a boxy, rugged aesthetic, exuding an irresistible off-roader appeal. However, under that rugged exterior, it’s built on the reliable Renault-Nissan CMF-B modular platform.

Besides this, Dacia’s sleeker fascia, a design feature rolled out across the entire range as part of last year’s mini facelifts will also be introduced. It’s worth noting that the Renault-branded version of this exceptional SUV will exhibit unique design elements that set it apart.

Furthermore, an insider source reveal that the new Duster will soon be joined by a three-row sibling, to be christened the “Bigster SUV.” Having said that, the global debut of this exciting addition is likely to happen sometime next year.

The all-new Duster is gearing up to hit the Indian market, where it will enter the highly competitive midsize SUV segment. In a ring filled with heavyweights like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the new Duster promises to make its mark as a formidable contender.
