Fighter Box Office Collection Day 1: Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone film Fighter has kicked off its box office journey on a positive note. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter release on Thursday and will be enjoying the extended Republic Day weekend at the box office. As per reports, Fighter has opened to a collection of Rs 22 crores. While this is a good start for Hrithik, all eyes will be on the film’s Republic Day collection.

As per Sacnilk report, the early estimates reveal Fighter has collected Rs 22 crores across languages. The film witnessed the most occupancies in the evening and night shows, 21.94% and 35.75% respectively. Fighter has recorded the best opening for Hrithik post the Covid-19 lockdown.

The actor had released Vikram Vedha in September 2022. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film had collected Rs 10.58 crore on its opening day.

Fighter is expected to bring in more audience over the extended weekend. The film has opened to good reviews. News18 gave the film a 4-star rating and said, “Phenomenally entertaining and consistently engaging, Fighter, for all the derivative genre components it compiles, is an action entertainer that crackles with energy.”

“Like the quintessential entertainer, Fighter serves up a little bit of everything in its narrative — action, drama, music, romance, and even emotions. The screenplay makes room for every commercial movie element. Fighter is a perfect popcorn entertainment thriller that plays to the gallery and lives up to the hype,” the review added.

Fighter has a run time of 2 hours and 46 minutes. The Central Board of Film Certification has also granted it a U/A certification to the film. Besides Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, the film stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Talat Aziz, Pradum Shukla, and Pradum Jaykar in pivotal roles. The film marks Hrithik and Deepika’s third film with Siddharth Anand. Hrithik previously worked with the filmmaker in Bang Bang and War. Deepika had worked with him in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Pathaan.
